The Sheffield Forum Shop is powered by Shopify. Any sales and purchases you make are made directly with B Forum Ltd. trading as Sheffield Forum. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of transactions between you and us.
By using our shop or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the shop.
1. About Us and These Terms
These Terms apply to all use of the Sheffield Forum Shop, including browsing, account creation, and purchases. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and our Refund, Returns and Shipping policies, which are incorporated by reference.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country of residence.
2. Access and Accounts
You may browse the shop without creating an account. To make a purchase you will be asked to provide accurate contact, billing, and shipping information. You are responsible for ensuring all information you provide is correct and complete.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must not share your account with anyone else or use another person's account.
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase.
3. Our Products
Made to order: The majority of our products are made to order. Production typically takes 3 to 5 working days before dispatch. This is an estimate, not a guarantee, and does not include delivery time. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full delivery information.
Product descriptions and images: We make every effort to accurately represent our products. Product colours may vary slightly depending on your screen and device settings. Mockup images are representative — minor variations in print positioning of up to 2cm may occur during the production process and are not considered faults.
Availability: Products shown in the shop may be subject to change or discontinuation at any time without notice.
4. Orders
When you place an order you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance and payment has been processed, at which point a contract is formed between you and us.
We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, in which case we will notify you and arrange a refund if payment has been taken.
Cancellations: Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, cancellations must be requested within 6 hours of placing your order. After this point your order may have entered production and cancellation cannot be guaranteed. If your order has already entered production within 6 hours of being placed, cancellation is at our discretion. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please review your order carefully before submitting — once an order has entered production, changes to items, sizes, colours, or delivery addresses cannot be accommodated.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate.
The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed, as confirmed in your order confirmation email.
International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, or other charges levied by the destination country. These are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices.
Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe). We do not store your card details. By providing payment information you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
We may offer promotional pricing or discount codes from time to time. These are subject to their own terms and may be withdrawn at any time.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery times and shipping costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Quoted delivery times are estimates provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control.
Once your order has been dispatched and transferred to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you.
We ship to the UK, EU, USA, Canada, and rest of the world. International orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis — any import duties or taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
7. Returns, Refunds and Faulty Goods
Our Refund and Returns Policy is set out separately and forms part of these Terms.
In summary: because our products are made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless an item is faulty or has arrived damaged. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
If you believe your item is faulty or has been damaged in transit, please contact us at shop@sheffieldforum.co.uk within 14 days of receipt, with photographic evidence. We will investigate and, where a genuine fault is confirmed, offer a replacement or full refund.
Print positioning tolerance of up to 2cm and minor colour variation are inherent to the print-on-demand production process and are not considered faults.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Sheffield Forum Shop — including designs, text, graphics, logos, and product images — is owned by or licensed to B Forum Ltd. unless otherwise stated, and is protected by UK and international copyright and intellectual property law.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use any content from the shop for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Sheffield Forum and REYT. are trading names and brand identities of B Forum Ltd. You must not use them without our permission.
9. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
For information about your consumer rights, you can contact Citizens Advice at citizensadvice.org.uk or your local Trading Standards office.
10. Our Liability
We take reasonable care to ensure the shop operates correctly and that product descriptions are accurate. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We do not warrant that the shop will be uninterrupted or error-free
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the shop or from products purchased
- Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that order
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The shop may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party sites. Links are provided for information only and do not imply endorsement.
12. Reviews and Feedback
If you submit a product review or other feedback, you grant us a royalty-free licence to display and use that content in connection with operating and promoting the shop. You confirm that any feedback you submit is honest, accurate, and your own.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at shop.sheffieldforum.co.uk/policies/terms-of-service. Continued use of the shop after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, as determined by your place of residence. You also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence.
If you have a complaint, please contact us at shop@sheffieldforum.co.uk in the first instance. We will do our best to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.
